Forum theater piece as an exploration of what allows and hinders the development of a society in which there is no authority but everyone bears responsibility.

Forum theater is an interactive theater technique that invites the public to develop and express their own ideas to solve the conflicts that are proposed in the scene.

We – team of interactive theater “Laiva” – revealed the benefits and challenges of the self-organization in a situation where four friends are cultivating a garden.  “Laiva” itself was also based on self-organization – it was not run by a director or any other authority.

My role was the facilitator of the process – the Joker. Joker’s role is part MC, part moderator of the forum, when audience/spect-actors discuss the oppression(s) in the play, and enter to scenes to improvise creative strategies.
